Lee Fanning Brown's Obituary
Lee Fanning Brown, daughter of Spencer Henton and Marie Wallis Brown was born October 22, 1943, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and died January 31st, 2013. She moved to Fayetteville in 1947 and spent her childhood years there, graduating from Fayetteville High School and receiving her bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the University of Arkansas. After time away from design school and work as an artist, Lee returned to Fayetteville to obtain her master’s degree in fine arts from the U. of A. Lee’s life was devoted to nature and the art her experience there generated. Her art and its reflection of her love for plants and animals, were inspirational to all who knew her. Lee is survived by her two brothers Spencer and Irwin Brown.
