Dr. Lee Bryan Parker Jr.'s Obituary
Dr. Lee Bryan Parker, Jr, 91, of Springdale, departed to be face to face
with the Lord on August 13, 2020. He was the son of Lee and Viola Parker
of Dermott. A private family service will be held at Nelson-Berna Funeral
Home.
He leaves behind his wife of 68 years, Beverly, his children Susan and
husband David Brewer of Hot Springs, Libby and husband Doug Beecher of
Rogers, Steven Parker and wife Betsey of West Fork, and Lynn Hegwood of
McKinney TX, 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, one brother
Bobby Joe and wife Judy Parker of Benton, 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
He was a member of Central United Methodist Church since 1967, where
he served as a Sunday morning greeter, taught the Asbury Sunday school
class, and served on several church boards. He was the original director of the Area Health Education Center (AHEC), Northwest. His passion was teaching and after retirement, he served as an adjunct faculty member until last year, training family practice physicians. He was an avid Razorback sports fan and loved flowers and birds. His family will miss his stories and his integrity.
