Leland A. Nease's Obituary
Leland A. Nease, 67, of Springdale, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2009 in Springdale. He was born June 12, 1941 in Havana, Kansas. The son of Francis H. and Lena (Booth) Nease. He was in insurance for twenty years before being the owner/operator and baker for Dandy Donuts from which he retired in 2007. He was preceded by a grandson James Taylor. He is survived by his wife; Carolyn (Shaiff) Nease of Springdale, Arkansas, three sons; Kevin Nease of Winslow, Arkansas, Scott Nease of Springdale, Arkansas, John Nease of Springdale, Arkansas, one sister; Lola Cornelison of Seminole, Oklahoma, two brothers; Howard Nease of Oviedo, Florida, Jim Nease of Kaw City, Oklahoma, ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 18, 2009 in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery in Springdale. Pallbearers will be Scott Nease, Kevin Nease, Paschel Griffith, Bobby Perryman, Brett Smith and Cyril Griffith. Visitation will be 5:00 PM till 9:00 PM, Friday, April 17, 2009 at the funeral home, with the family receiving friends from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM.
