The first time I met Mr. Tull I was with my Father and we were in Mr. Tull’s Office it’s was 1992. As I listened to the wisdom of Mr. Tull I noticed a cartoon type picture of Babe Ruth walking with his bat and his head down and it said Babe Ruth struck out 1330 times. I commented on the picture and he passionately talked about the picture. The lesson learned was you learn more in your failures than your success. After that I would see Mr. Tull and I would say Babe Ruth struck out 1330 times and he would laugh and so would I, a few years Later Mr. Tull retired and a box showed up at my house, I opened it and it was the picture of Babe Ruth, I was so honored to receive that picture and now that picture sits behind my desk. I will carry on his legacy with that picture, I know he touched a lot of people and my Dad “Jim Lindsey” loved Mr. Tull greatly. One of these days I will pass Mr. Tull on those streets of Gold and I will tell him hey Babe Ruth struck out 1330 times and we will have a Laugh. “What a man”
Margaret Ann, Missy and Jim I am sorry that Jeanne Newberry and I won't be able to attend the visitation or memorial for Lem. Jeanne and Dean were so fond of all of you. Dean was especially impressed with Missy's lawn care. Our prayers are with you as you continue your journey without Lem.
Margaret and family, sincere regrets for the loss of a truly great man and friend to me and many. I`ll be with you in thought and spirit today, but will be unable to attend his Visitation.

Thank you Ms. Humphrey, We will share your kind remarks and love with our mother. She will appreciate your thoughtfulness.
My sympathy and thoughts go out to Lemuel's family at this time of loss. Although I did not know him personally I feel a connection to all of you through our dear Margaret Ann. We were in nursing school together. We did everything alphabetically and because our names were alphabetically close we share many sweet memories. May the love of friends and family bring peace and renewal to each of you as you lay him to rest. Please give Margaret Ann my love and best wishes for the difficult days ahead.
