SHELTERED in the arms of our loving GOD, who now has welcomed this faithful man.
What an exciting life my Dad experienced. Filled with singing the glorious musical harmony that he and his dad Floyd, and his brother Junior (Floyd Morris Jr) made as a trio. I fully remember all the many places he took me to learn to be a singer, learning all the differing parts of a melody in each song. Every Tuesday night we got together with a large group of people and if you wanted to learn Tenor, you went and sat over in the TENOR section and so on. It not only was a wonderful time for me to learn, but to understand so much about the art of quartet singing. I remember passing out song books and leaflets at small towns such as Poteau, Okla. where Dad would preach on the street corner to all who would lend an ear. His ability to reach out to people and share the Gospels "good news" was emphatic and strict, knowing his Bible and relating information by chapter and verse. He was a dandy singer, and played guitar well throughout his life, as I now do the same, following those seeds that were planted so many years ago. He conversed about the biblical knowledge he had gained thru diligent study throughout this land, and it was far reaching. Master Plasterer and helped build everything from Dams to Porches to beautiful houses and commercial bldgs. He led singings in so many places that it's hard to count them all. Betty was a true love of his, and they were very happy together for many years until her passing. They will both certainly be missed. Lovely people, and true Christians, showing love and giving help as teachers of our Saviors plans for us. Dad will be so missed by all who knew him. His life was well spent, and now he is in the loving arms of His Father. He now has Family on 'Both Sides'.
Sorry for your loss....my thoughts and prayers are with all the family....
Oh, what a dear, sweet friend Bill was to both my parents and me. I was so blessed by each visit we had over the past 5 years and will always cherish them. He will be greatly missed. I will miss his singing, his faithful witnessing to His Lord, and just everything about him. Ann Dubbell
