I met Joanie through our Bunco group and over the years became wonderful friends. When she lived at her home, she'd call me and ask me over for coffee and to work crossword puzzles, which I was no match for her. When I would be stumped, instead of going to her Crossword Solver books, I'd just asked her and 9 out of 10 times she'd know the answer, she ended up passing her 2 word problem solver books over to me, said I needed them more than she did. We would visit mostly about little Zoey, her beloved poodle and I know Zoey misses her just as much as we do. Rest in peace Joanie, you will be missed by many. Love You Always

I had the privilege of knowing Ms Joan for some years as a Bunco group member. I loved visiting with her about her many trips! Ms Joan lived her life to the fullest. I really enjoyed having March Bunco at her house. She served Corned Beef. And her pickles couldn't be beat. My little granddaughter, meeting Joan for the first time at a restaurant called her grandma. Ms. Joan asked about how our granddaughter was each time I saw her after that.My life if richer having had the pleasure of spending time with her, and She will very much be missed. On to your next big adventure!
