Leon King's Obituary
Leon King, age 64, of West Fork passed away Sunday December 16, 2018 in Springdale. He was born December 10, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan the son of Floyd and Elfreda Mobley King. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Larry King.
He worked in construction and computers. He loved to garden and sports cars but most of all he loved being a dedicated father.
His is survived by his wife of 35 years Betty King; children Michael Leon Buttress of Chetopa, Kansas, Timothy Jones and his wife Lisa of Camden, Arkansas, Teresa Steed and her husband Michael of Batesville, Arkansas, Trint Jones and his wife Linda of Camden, Arkansas, Teddy Jones of Calico Rock, Arkansas, Courtney Troost and her husband Raymond of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Jessie Wise and his wife Madelaine of Leavenworth, Kansas; grandchildren Morgan and Brianna Lambert, Michael Jones, Kassandra Jones, Timothy Jones, Jr., Elizabeth Jones, Heather Jones, Morgan Pennington, Megan Martin, Trinity Jones, Rebecca Jordan, Brittney Jones, Travis Jones, Jewel Jones, Jasmine Jones, Raymond Troost, Jr., Zane Troost and Sophia Troost and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m-7:00 p.m. Tuesday December 18 at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Unity Covenant Church in West Fork. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Pine Hill Cemetery in Jonesboro.
