Malinda and I got acquainted with Leona when we worked at the Gardens at Arkanshire as co-managers. Leona and I shared the same birthday and we enjoyed visiting with her and her daughters at Walnut Grove after she moved there. We learned that she lived in Malinda's hometown of Killeen when they were in the military. We really enjoyed getting to know her.
