LEONARD MICHAEL CHAPMAN
Leonard Michael Chapman, 60, of Fayetteville died July 6, 2011 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Fayetteville.
He was born February 5, 1951 at Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
He was an archaeologist and was very proud to be a graduate of the University of Arkansas with two degrees. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He went to Vietnam to save lives as a combat medic, even though he had to take lives, he saved many more. He was a member of the American Legion Fayetteville Post. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by a step-son, James Hipp of Fayetteville and numerous friends.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 19 at the Fayetteville National Cemetery, under the direction of Moore’s Chapel
