Leonard Peterson's Obituary
Mr. Leonard "Pete" Peterson, 86 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Saturday, August 29, 2003 in Fayetteville, AR. He was born July 17, 1917 in Fayetteville to John Aaran and Eliza Jane (Chapman) Peterson. He was a carpenter and attended the Baptist church. He was a Sergeant in the 95th Field Medical Army Battalion during World War II.
He is survived by one daughter; Linda Kaye Peterson of Collierville, TN, one brother; John Aaran Peterson, Jr. of Claremore, OK, one grandson; Brent Byrum and wife Misty of Springdale, AR, one nephew; Richard McMullen of Farmington, AR, one niece; Carolyn Peterson Calvo of Panama City, Panama.
He was preceded in death by two daughters; Jane Peterson Curry and Patsy Peterson Ryenolds.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 4, 2003 at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM with the family present from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM to greet friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 5, 2003 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Mr. Paul Woodhouse officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Comfort Cemetery in Fayetteville.
