Leslie Lynn Daily's Obituary
Leslie Lynn Daily, 69, returned to her heavenly home on September 24, 2014 after her second valiant battle with cancer. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace.
Leslie was born on August 23, 1945, a daughter to the late Wayne and Orvella Minter. She graduated from Fayetteville High School and attended the University of Arkansas. She was a long time employee for the Bank of Fayetteville. Leslie was a lifelong member of University Baptist Church
She married Boyd Ray Daily November 27, 1966, and was blessed with a loving family. She cherished every moment with them and watching and mentoring her kids and grandkids. She loved flower gardening, watching her two grandsons, Logan and Chandler play sports and cheering on her granddaughter, Madison, as she danced
She loved her and Boyd’s Sunday School Class and Tuesday bible studies with her sister Shari at University Baptist Church.
Leslie is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Morris Minter.
Leslie is survived by her husband of 47 years Boyd; daughter Dana Daily Hiatt and son-in-law Lad Hiatt; son, Joey Daily and Daughter-in-law Sara Pack Daily; three grandchildren, Logan Hiatt, Chandler Hiatt and Madison Hiatt; one loving sister, Shari Minter Mains; one sister-in-law, Betty Minter and a lot of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6PM on Sunday at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 2:00PM, Monday, September 29, 2014 at University Baptist Church with burial to follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The family requests that memorial take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society, 1200 W. Walnut, Suite 2313 Rogers, AR 72756.
