Linda Ann Denson's Obituary
Linda Ann Denson, born on April 13, 1932, went to be with her savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, April 28th, 2026. Linda was born in Little Rock, Arkansas but has lived in Fayetteville, Arkansas, for the last twelve years, at Butterfield Trail Village. Linda graduated from Little Rock High School in 1950 and then went on to attend Arkansas State Teacher’s College graduating with a teaching degree in Home Economics in 1964.
Linda was proceeded in death by her husband of 55 years, Charles Bruce Denson, her parents Mr. And Mrs. L.E. Newland, and her sister, Sarah Jane Newland.
She is survived by her son, Charles B. Denson, Jr. and his wife Carrie Denson of Dallas, Texas, her daughter Gwen A. Watkins and her husband Larry Watkins, along with five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Linda was best known for her strong relationship with Jesus Christ and for her constant prayers for her family and for others in need. Her gift in life was her burning desire to reach others with the message of salvation through Jesus. Her life was a ministry to her family and to all of those around her.
Linda attend Emmanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock, Arkansas for many years before moving to Fayetteville after the death of her husband, Bruce. In Little Rock, she loved spending time with friends from her Sunday school class and her friends that she played cards with for many years. In Fayetteville, Linda became friends with many wonderful people, that she loved dearly, many of which she is now reunited with in Heaven.
As a mom, grandmother, and as a great grandmother she will be greatly missed by all. However, thanks to her life, she created a lasting legacy for each family member to follow.
A memorial service will be held at Butterfield Village on May 16, 2026 at 2:30 pm.
