Densil & Joy Stewart (Friend)
We have had a week of fond memories in Warren. Everyone was sad to hear of Linda's death, but they would say - - She was a great teacher - I remember when . . .she helped me with my chemistry . . . she had that snake in class that would scare us to death . . . I would spend nights at her house for help and she never seemed to mind - she is fondly remembered by her former students, many of whom are now teachers.
And, of course many things came to mind for me this week because of things we did as families together or things that Martha and Misty, Reeca and Marche did together. Those memories have really meant a lot to everyone here in Warren. I know you have so many great memories also; and, with all of those great memories along with the prayers of all your friends, God will give you the strength to make it through this difficult time.
I have a few regrets. One is that we couldn't be there for the service. Another is that we didn't keep in contact over the years. Twenty years can pass so quickly. The other reqret is that we couldn't put a little green snake in that plant - - Linda would've loved it, don't you think?
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
