Linda Jean Oxford's Obituary
Linda Jean Oxford, age 71, of Bella Vista passed away Sunday November 12, 2023. She was born May 25, 1952 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to William (Bill) and Virginia Elliott Fields. In 1971, Linda married Keith Oxford on July 6th after correspondence through letters while he was serving as a Medical Corp Officer in Vietnam on the US Navy hospital ship.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Virginia Fields; infant son, Kraig Douglas Oxford; daughter, Laura Oxford Burgmeier and her younger sister, Brenda “Cassiah” Fields Hemmerle.
Linda is survived by her husband of 52 years, Keith; daughter, Sarah Gretzmier and her husband David; son, Kyle Oxford and his wife Caitlin; older sister, Cheri Dockery and her husband George; twelve grandchildren, Natalie, Warren, Anna Marie, Mary Kathryn, Lilly Jane, John David, Lily, Emma, Klint, Roan, Karis and Stella.
Graveside service will be 11:00 am Thursday November 16, 2023 at Son’s Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville.
