Linda Ann Southern's Obituary
Linda Ann Southern, age 69, of Springdale passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022. She was born November 11, 1952, in Lawton, Oklahoma to Daniel and Betty (Stacy) McArthur. She was preceded in death by her parents. She was an elementary schoolteacher, a library media specialist, a special-ed teacher, and was the office manager for the Southern Law Firm. She graduated from UCA with both her Batchelor’s and her Master’s degrees. She also attended the University of Arkansas for both her Special Ed, and her legal education.
Linda is survived by her husband, Herbert “Herb” Southern; one brother, Daniel McArthur Jr. of Springdale; and two children, Thomas H Southern and Paulette “Charly” Gayer and many Grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4 PM to 8 PM on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville. Funeral Service will be 11:30 am Monday, November 14, 2022 at Moore’s Chapel, with burial at following at the National Cemetery.
