Lloyd Lindsay Stith's Obituary
Lloyd Lindsay Stith, 87 of Elkins, AR passed away June 28, 2026 in Fayetteville, AR. He was born May 2, 1939 in Buttermilk, KS to Francis Marion Stith and Edna Eliza (Lindsay) Stith.
Before moving from Kansas to Springdale, AR to start up L & L Plumbing Company with his brother Lonnie, Lloyd was a dairy farmer. After 37 years in the plumbing business he retired and returned to farming life to raise beef cattle.
Lloyd was a Presbyterian member of Elkins Community Church. He served as an elder at First Presbyterian Church in Springdale. He served on the Sewer and Water Committee for Elkins and on the Elkins City Council for many years. He was also a former member of the Board of Directors for the NRCS/Washington County Soil and Water Conservation District.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Don and Lonnie Stith, two sisters, Pansy Miles and Leatha Youngman Brandenburg.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Linda Merritt Stith, one son, Mike Stith, one daughter, Abigail Stith Curlee, six grandsons, three great grandsons, and one great granddaughter all of Elkins, AR.
A visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, July 11 from 12:00 until 1:00 with Celebration of Life to follow at 1:00 at Elkins Community Church.
