Lois was like a local mother to me when I moved to Fayetteville as a green 22 year old audiologist. Her friendship and support meant a lot and we are so sorry to hear of the loss of such an amazing woman. Unfortunately, we will be out of town on Friday and are unable to attend the service. Our prayers are with you all. Sid and Sherrie (Hunt) Norbash

I am sad to hear that this world has lost such a sweet soul! She and Jim were such an incredible support to our family while we served Rolling Hills! I loved that she and Jim would go to Washington state (I think that is correct) to be hosts at a camp! I have often thought… when I grow up, I want to be like them! Rest peacefully Lois!

I cared deeply for Lois. She and Jim were so kind and hospitable to the young associate pastor who didn't live too far from them. They invited me to Christmas dinner when we got snowed in and I couldn't make it to my family. And I still feel bad for another night they had me over and I was enjoying myself so much I lost track of time and when I finally left I realized it was 11 pm!

We have always considered ourselves blessed to know Lois and Jim. Lois was always encouraging and loving to our entire family. She was the best role model for the women in our church community. What an honor to have called her friend.

Jim, Joel, and Lisa,
Jo and I send deep condolences at the passing of Lois. Whether she was at the office, at church, or together with friends, she always had a warm smile and word for everyone. Her attention to detail made her a great friend as well as the person who knew what to do in almost any situation. We will always hold fond memories of the times we have shared with her and your family.
