Lois Pauline Roetzel's Obituary
Lois Pauline Roetzel, of Fayetteville, AR passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014 in Fayetteville. She was born December 12, 1927 in Granite City, IL to Osby and Pernie Jewel (O’Neal) Burnett.
She was a retired administrative assistant with Southwestern Bell Telephone and member of Cross Church Springdale where she was active with Senior Saints, and the choir. She was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers.
Lois loved studying the bible and participated in many bible studies including Bible study fellowship. She was an avid gardner & a wonderful cook. Her grandchildren and great grands were her pride and joy along with her Scottie dog Megan.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lavon Roetzel and granddaughter, Joelle Engles.
She is survived by son Mike Roetzel and wife Julie of Fayetteville, AR, daughter Linda Morris of Tulsa, OK, five grandchildren, Shane Morris, Sarah Morris, Jaclyn Barrett, Cara Hamilton, Emily Roetzel, and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday, September 14th from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday September 15th in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Reverend Charlie Foster officiating. Private burial will be held at Fairview Memorial Garden in Fayetteville.
