Lois Rumsey Goodson's Obituary
Lois Rumsey Goodson, age 94, died Sunday March 30, 2014 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born November 24, 1919 in Texarkana, Arkansas. Mrs. Goodson was a member of Beech Street First Baptist Church in Texarkana since 1928. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest C. Goodson Jr., who died in 2003. She was retired from Weekday Early Education at her church.
She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Vest of Fayetteville (Larry); Betty House of Denton, Texas (Tommy). Also survived by four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, special nephews and their families.
Memorial service will be 4:00 pm Wednesday April 2, 2014 at The Gardens at Arkanshire Retirement Residence in Springdale. Arrangements are under the direction of Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
