Lonnie Lynn McCleland's Obituary
Lonnie Lynn McCleland, 66 of Fayetteville, AR passed peacefully on Thursday, October 23, 2014. He was born on July 22, 1948 the son of Orby and Sylvia Keck McCleland in Fayetteville Arkansas.
Lonnie was a 1966 graduate of Fayetteville High School and attended Bacone College in Muskogee, Oklahoma and then moved on to Yankton College in Yankton, South Dakota where he attended both schools on a baseball scholarship. After college Lonnie returned to make his home in Fayetteville where he served as the Maintenance Foreman for University of Arkansas for over twenty years.
Lonnie is survived by 1 sister, Donna Crane of St. Peters MO and several nieces and nephews from Houston Texas as well as St. Peters MO.
The family will receive friends from 11:30am to 12:30pm on Monday at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, October 27th at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville with Reverend Phil Meisenheimer officiating. Burial will follow in Sons Chapel Cemetery.
