I met Loretta while playing cards at the Senior Center. When Covid-19 closed down the center, Loretta, Jackie, Ellen and I became our “bubble” of friends. We met every week to have lunch and play cards. That was when I got to know and love Loretta. Loretta’s smile, humor, talent and of course Loretta’s love of purple. She was an expert seamstress, avid book reader. She was always happy and had a smile that only faded a second if she had a bad hand in cards. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Whenever I see purple I’ll see Loretta’s smile.
