Lorna Jean Bayles, 73 of Springdale, AR passed away Thursday, July 16,2026 in Fayetteville. She was born April 6,1953 in Detroit, MI to Levi Tomlinson and Ruth (Brannon) Tomlinson.
Lorna Jean Bayles was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and faithful follower of Jesus Christ whose life was defined by unwavering love, strength, laughter, and compassion. Though she faced significant health challenges throughout her life, her steadfast faith, resilient spirit, and unconditional love for her family left a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Jim, two sons, Shaun Bayles and his wife Hollie of Springdale, AR, David Bayles and wife Suzy of Tontitown, AR, four sisters, Carol, Angela, Linda, and Dorothy, and two granddaughters, Sylah, and Coraline.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 21 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM with a service beginning at 10 in the Chapel of Moore’s Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville with Pastor Des Venter officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Fellowship Bible Church 2000 West Emma Ave. Springdale, AR 72762
