I heard about Dave’s passing Monday 11/18 so sorry to hear this sad news . I worked with Dave at Vouk Transportation for several years. Dave and I started with Vouk 2 weeks apart in late 1980. A great co-worker , great friend and a great person . It has been a couple of years since I had spoken with Dave . I know he will be missed greatly by his family and friends. We will meet again!! May God’s marvelous grace be with his family in the days ahead.
So sorry to hear this sad news of David’s passing. He was a very good friend and a motorcycle enthusiast. We visited many times to talk about his Harley Davidson which I eventually purchased from him. We also met several times in the neighborhood walking our dogs. He was always happy and enjoyed life to it’s fullest. He will surely be missed by the Gilbert Belk family. Our condolences to his wife “Debbie” and other family members.
Dave was a great classmate. He was kind to everybody and everybody liked him. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to to the family. Praying that God gives you the peace that passes all understanding.

Dave and Deb were among the first neighbors we met when we moved to the Oakbrooke community in west Fayetteville. Dave was a great friend and m he always called me his WingMan , that meant everything to me as we spent countless hours together experiencing life , He was the most genuine and generous person with a passion for life and he will be missed by all that knew and loved him . I did not know him, but as I got on the interstate this morning in Knoxville, TN heading to work a Cawood Trucking trailer passed me.When I got to the office I googled Cawood Trucking and found Dave Cawood's Obituary. Wish I could have met him or gotten the chance to talk with him. I am so very sorry for your loss. You are all in my prayers.

Condolences to the family. I remember Dave as a good man and non-stop, full speed ahead kind of person. I worked with him for a time and he seemed tireless in his work ethic. Many times I wished for some of his energy. I know he loved the outdoors so I will remember him from that vantage point, enjoying the world around him. God spread Dave!
