Lucille E. Harris' Obituary
Lucille E. Harris, age 89, of Fayetteville died Saturday November 17, 2012 in Fayetteville. She was born October 25 1923 in Elkins, Arkansas, the daughter of Harry and Eva Moore Whitehouse. She was of the Baptist faith, and was a farmer. She was preceded in death by a daughter Wanda Laverne Harris, and a brother Richard Whitehouse.
She is survived by two sons Vernon “Bub” Harris Jr. of Elkins and Ronnie Harris of Colcord, Oklahoma, a daughter Linda Hardin of Goshen; One brother Bill Whitehouse of Russiaville, Indiana, and a sister Lorene Salsbury of Kokomo, Indiana; she had five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Monday, November 19, 2012 at Moore’s Chapel. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday at Moore’s Chapel with burial at Mount Salem Cemetery in Elkins, under the direction of Moore’s Chapel. Pallbearers will be Vernon “Bub” Harris Jr., Rowdy Harris, Cody Harris, Colton Harris, Calder Harris, and Kevin Mort. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Washington Regional Hospital and staff for their loving care especially Manee.
