Lucille Fern Day Morgan's Obituary
Ms. Lucille Fern Day Morgan, 73, of Springdale, Ark, formerly of New Orleans, La, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2004 in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born December 31, 1930 in Bonita, La. to Reverend Ernest Wyman and Alva Bernice (Coon) Day.
Ms. Morgan played the piano from an early age and attended Louisiana State University, where she studied music. Her greatest love besides the piano was the field of psychology, metaphysics, and the power of the human spirit. She touched many people and will be greatly missed.
Two brothers, Robert Marion Day and Ernest Wyman Day, Jr. preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son, Robert Williams of Fayetteville, Ark., two daughters, Karyn Williams of Indianapolis, Ind., Lucinda Williams of Los Angeles, Cal.; one step daughter, Betty Lee Morgan of Picayune, Miss.; two brothers, Cecil Day and wife Berna of Sulphur, La., Henry Day and wife Ann of Baton Rouge, La., grandchildren; Rebecca and Jason Smith of Fayetteville, Ark., Emily and Aaron Bryan of Indianapolis, Ind., Reuben Williams-Boyd of Mt. Home, Ark., Sarah, Sam, and Charles Joyce of New Orleans, La., seven great grandchildren, and many friends.
A private family graveside service will be held at Riverview Cemetery in Monroe, La.
