Lucille Morris Barrett's Obituary
Lucille Morris Barrett "Mama Ceil", 88 of Lowell, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at her home. She was born September 22, 1917 in Clark, Kansas to William Seeb and Viola (Howerton) Morris.
She was a homemaker and spent years helping veterans through the Springdale chapter of the DAV. She enjoyed gardening, needlework, and her many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Her husband of 50 years, Wesley and son Roy preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by four brothers; Roy, Clarence, Cecil, and Delbert Morris, and two sisters; Winnie Dominquez and Opal Morris.
Survivors include one daughter, Billie Stanphill of Lowell, Arkansas, one daughter-in-law, Jackie Barrett of Greenland, Arkansas, three brothers; Ted Morris and wife June of Lowell, Harold Morris of Columbia, MO, Jimmy Morris and wife Marcella of Dryfork, AR, four sisters; Viola Howard of Kingston, AR, Ruby Howard of Alpena, AR, Reba Lou Allred and husband Ernest of Springfield, MO, Virginia Knapp and husband Tom of Austin, TX, one brother-in-law, Jim Barrett of Ontario, CA, four sisters-in-law; June Byrd and Betty Cook and Robbie Morris of Ontario, CA, Mary Lou Morris of Hamilton, MT, five grandchildren; Hope Barrett of Elkins, Penny Sims, Sonia Pile, Shane and Brandon Barrett all of Lowell, AR, thirteen great-grandchildren; Haley Vo, Sarah Ramey, Aaron Pile, Brad Sims, Travis Ramey, Tyler Barrett, Chelsea Pile, Lacey Ramey, Chase Barrett, Madi Barrett, Chance Barrett, Ann Marie Pile, Wade Barrett, and two great-great grandchildren; Mason and Addison Dobbs and one expected in December.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2005 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 29, 2005 in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Reverend Buel Curtis officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
Pallbearers will be Shane Barrett, Brandon Barrett, Travis Ramey, Tyler Barrett, Aaron Pile, Brad Sims, Caley Vo.
