Lura was my second mama.
Such a God filled woman, she just knew things.
If ever Jill & I came home and had been up to no good she knew. She would give us a talking to and her eyes would turn black when she was mad - sure put the fear of God in me!!
She was also one of the most graceful, poised loving caring women I have ever had the privilege of knowing.
She will be forever missed…..but Heaven is rejoicing now that she is there!!!
(and I know she is too). 😌

Lura Jean was a classmate at Dardanelle, AR. Lura always had a contagious smile with a calming effect. She was also a great dancer in the 50's and 60's! Prayers are with the family.
