Lydia Brown's Obituary
Lydia Brown was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. Lydia passed away on August 19, 2024, at the age of 88. Lydia was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, on January 1, 1936, Parents were Jon and Anna Roskos.
Lydia married Raymond Brown in 1954, married 46 years. They had four children, Alan Brown of Rogers, AR., Chrissy Newton of Rogers, AR., Karen Bilder and Tracy of Evansville, Indiana and Diane Summers of Springdale, AR., 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Lydia loved spending time baking, cooking, always discovering new recipes to try.
Lydia was a skilled organ player and filled the house with music. Mom kept herself busy by taking long walks around the neighborhood, needlepointing, working in her garden and was a voracious reader. Mom had an uncanny ability to find joy in all her activities. Her outgoing personality, smile and laughter was contagious to everyone around her.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday August 29, 2024, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home Rogers.
