Lynda Fae Ware, 67, passed away July 11, 2019, in Fayetteville, AR. She was born on January 7, 1952 in Pine Bluff, AR, to Henry and Mary (Manley) Ware. She is preceded in death by her loving parents and sister: Joann Ware Jeans. Read Obituary
It came to me this morning out of nowhere that I should call Linda. We attended the U of A Together in the Early Seventies. When I googled and came upon this obituary it deeply saddened me. She was a grand lady.
Lynda came to work for Ozark Legal Services as a paralegal in its earliest days in 1977. She was dedicated in her commitment to help the poor get the legal help they needed, which often made the difference in whether they had food and shelter. Her compassion made her a dear friend to us all. Hers was a life well lived, ended too soon, but now in glory.

I met Lynda in 3rd grade when my family moved to Pine Bluff. We shared a name, although I spell mine Linda. Because 3 of us with the same first name were in the same class, the teacher called me by my midfle name: Karen. Lynda and I lived close and became friends. We lost touch for a while, but through a mutual friend were able to reconnect as adults and spend some time together. I will miss Lynda. I regret I will not be able to make the service. Erserline Blanks, I am a life long family member and friend of Lynda. We started out at Townsend Park Elementary School together. LYNDA and I was in the first group of students that transferred to Dollarway High School during the first waiver of integration. We both graduated from Dollarway in the Class of 1970. We both begin Our College Career in Social Work at the U. Of A. In Fayetteville. Her sense of humor was one thing I loved about My Sister. She heard about the passing of my brother in August of last year, she shocked me when she came to me at his burial service. My heart is heavy but I know Holy Spirit is a comforter. We hugged and stated that we needed to get together. But, now My Sister is resting eternally in the arms of Our heavenly Father. RIP. Will miss You!!!!!!!
