Lyndsey Laman Naekel's Obituary
Lyndsey Laman Naekel, age 50, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Robert and Janice Laman, Lyndsey grew up with her sister, Brooke, in a childhood filled with love, laughter, and adventure, guided by her parents’ care and encouragement. The sisters spent countless hours exploring the woods near their home and discovering the sandbars along the Arkansas River, enjoying weekends boating and creating memories that would last a lifetime. She later graduated from Central High School in Little Rock.
Lyndsey was blessed to find the love of her life, Corbin Naekel, early on. In 1996 they married and together they built a bond grounded in devotion, respect, and genuine affection. Corbin was a constant source of love and strength, and their partnership inspired all who knew them.
Lyndsey often said she discovered her purpose the moment she became a mother. She poured her heart into raising her three sons - Alex, Jack, and Ryan - whom she adored and considered her greatest joy and purpose. Her quirky humor, clever wit, and spontaneous silliness made her the heartbeat of her family, traits her sons carry with them.
Friends and family remember Lyndsey for her remarkable gift of connection. She always knew the right words to offer comfort, encouragement, or joy, making everyone around her feel seen, loved, and valued.
Her faith guided her throughout life. She faced challenges with grace and gratitude, anchored by her trust in God’s goodness and the belief that love and kindness were life’s truest purposes.
Lyndsey is survived by her husband, Corbin Naekel; her three sons, Alex, Jack, and Ryan Naekel; her sister, Brooke Laman Vines, and Brooke’s children, Fischer and Bella Vines; her parents, Robert L. Laman and Janice “Toby” Ricks; her father-in-law, Mike Naekel; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of Lyndsey’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Christ Church NWA, 4201 N. Shiloh Dr #98, Fayetteville, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Circle of Life or Christ Church NWA.
Though her time on earth was far too short, Lyndsey’s light continues to shine in the hearts of all who knew her. Her greatest desire was that her children would always know how loved, valued, and enough they are.
