Lynn Eldred's Obituary
Lynn Eldred, age 80, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers. She was born on November 23, 1940, in Rogers, Arkansas, to Guy Carl and Lois (Shickle) Atwood.
Lynn graduated from Bentonville High School in 1958. She went on to attend college at the University of Arkansas where she played first chair saxophone in the band. She spent twenty-seven years as the librarian for the city of Bentonville and she dearly loved books. First and foremost, she adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of thirty-four years, David Eldred of the home; her son, Jeff Mann and wife Mary Beth of Rogers; her daughter, Susan Mitchell of Gravette; her step-son, David R. Eldred and wife Julia of Springdale; three grandchildren, Lauren Mann and husband Chris, Zachary Mann and wife Courtney, and Kirsten Hutcheson; four great-grandchildren, Daniel Mann, Harlow Mann, Ryker Mann, and Axle Mann; and last but not least, Charlie the cat.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of choice.
