Whether they know it or not, WE know that every distance learning student who ever takes a course or receives a degree from the U of A does so on the shoulders of Dr Dutton. His legacy will live forever in the educated minds of students everywhere!
Better for having known him.
Rest in peace, special cousin, your laughter, sparkling mischievous twinkling eyes and happy disposition will always be a fond memory for Pete and me.
Dr. Dutton inspired a great number of students, mastered educational challenges and took Continuing Education to new heights while working at the University of Arkansas. He was a great leader, mentor and friend. He will be missed.
Dr. Dutton was a man of distinction, truly great leader, and kind friend. He will be missed by many at the University of Arkansas. My heart goes out to his family. I hope you find peace in fond memories.
Libby,No words can truly express how deeply saddened we are to hear of Donnie's passing. We want you to know our thoughts and prayers are with you. Donnie was an amazing friend with a huge heart, an infectious smile, along with a musical gift unique to him and will always be remembered as such. It was always a big event when Walter had the chance to play music with Donnie and he looked forward to it every time. Libby, we can only Imagine how proud you must feel to have been married to such a good man for 57 years. Walter and I hope you find comfort knowing that us,along with countless people are keeping you in there thoughts and prayers. God is holding Donnie safe in his loving care until we can all be with him again.
