Mabel L. Beaver's Obituary
Mabel L. Beaver passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2003 in Tulsa, OK where she had been a resident since November 1991. Born December 2, 1906 in Brownington, MO. Preceded in death by husband Doss H. Beaver, parents George W. Swopes, II and Emma Ann King Swopes, five brothers; Bart, Vernon, Virgil, Vester, and Luther Swopes and four sisters; Wanda Brown, Grace Shoemaker, Clora Kercheval and Minnie Beaver.
Mabel was a charter member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Fayetteville, AR and was a member of the Order of The Eastern Star, although not active at the time of her death. She was retired from the Veterans Administration Hospital. She will be missed by many friends as well as numerous nieces and nephews, who were blessed by having her in their lives.
Visitation will be held Sunday, October 19, 2003 from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 20, 2003 at 10:30 AM in the Farmington Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Pete Kimball officiating. Burial will follow in Farmington Cemetery.
