Dr. Marappa Nalluswami's Obituary
Dr. Marappa Nalluswami, age 85, of Rogers passed away December 19, 2020 in Rogers. He was born June 9, 1935 in Sungakkarampatti, India the son of Marappa and Pappayee Palaniappa Gounder. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Dr. M. Nalluswami was a retired engineer who migrated from India to the United States, with a career that included academic teaching, private industry, private practice, and government service. Trained in hydraulics, he specialized in groundwater applications for much of his career. His survivors include his wife, a sister, a brother, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He also has innumerable friends and other family to whom he leaves a legacy of friendship and service. His life epitomized hard work and discipline.
A private family visitation will be held from 5:00pm-7:00 pm cst Wednesday December 23, 2020 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Service. A private family service will be held from 10:30am-11:30am cst December 24, 2020 at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Both of these events will be live streamed at https://my.gather.app/remember/marappa-nalluswami.
