Marcella Heupel's Obituary
Mrs. Marcella "Marcie" Heupel, 72 of Rogers, AR passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2004 in Rogers, AR. She was born September 27, 1931 the youngest of eleven children in Leola, South Dakota to Fred and Katherine (Guthmiller) Bender.
She was the owner and operator of Marcel Royale Beauty Academy in Rogers for 22 years after graduating from St. Joseph's Beauty Academy in 1971 in Fargo, North Dakota. Prior to coming to Rogers she was an instructor at Robinson Beauty School in Brooklyn Park, MN. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Rogers for 22 years.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years Royal Heupel, one daughter, Deborah Brudvig and husband Duane of Bella Vista, AR, two sons, Craig Heupel and wife Pam of Fargo, ND, Ross Heupel of Saint Paul, MN, two brothers, Alvin Bender of Rogers, AR, August Bender of Bismarck, ND, one sister, Emma Heupel of Colorado Springs, CO, six grandchildren, Stacy Clair, Melissa Guyll, Carly Gaddie, Chip Heupel, Kit Heupel, Matt Heupel, two great grandchildren, Trey Guyll and Colin Clair.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Saturday, May 15, 2004, at the First Baptist Church of Rogers, AR, with Rev. Tommy Hinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Tuck's Chapel cemetery in Rogers, AR, pallbearers will be grandsons.
Visitation will be 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM, Friday, May 14, 2004 in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home, 4520 North Crossover Road, Fayetteville, AR 72703.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Rogers 626 West Olive Rogers, AR 72756.
