Marcheta Isabelle Dietzen's Obituary
Marcheta Isabelle Dietzen, 85 of Springdale, AR passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013 in Rogers, AR. She was born March 16, 1928 in Oak Park, IL to Peter Gudiksen Dahl and Dorothy Isabelle (Audiss) Dahl.
She was a homemaker, and a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fayetteville where she had sang in the choir for thirty years and was a member of the Altar Guild. She loved to travel and attend cultural events.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John Dietzen, son, Steven Dietzen, and grandson, Blake Dietzen.
She is survived by four children; Michael Dietzen and wife Bonnie of Rogers, AR, Pastor Kris Dietzen and husband Pastor Fred Schmidt of Olathe, KS, Linda Dietzen of Springdale, AR, Julie Penley Ph.D and husband Howard of El Paso, TX, and two grandsons; Marcus and Mitchell Dietzen both of Rogers, AR.
Services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, April 19, 2013 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fayetteville with Pastor Clint Schnekloth and Pastor Kris Dietzen officiating. Burial will follow at a later date at Mount Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst, IL.
