Margaret Ann Fair's Obituary
Margaret Ann Fair, age 88, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2023, in Rogers, Arkansas. She was born on January 12, 1935, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, to the late Elmer and Hazel (McDaniel) Owens.
Margaret was a devoted mother, and her love for her family and faith defined her life. She departed this world having been preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Hazel Owens, as well as her sister, Martha Sue Scott, and brother, Charles Ed Owens.
Margaret was a woman of many talents and passions. She was known for her culinary skills, particularly her famous roast and gumbo recipes that brought joy to many family gatherings. Margaret also found solace and joy in crocheting and solving puzzles, hobbies that showcased her creativity and intelligence.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Gary Davis, Sherry Bates and husband Jeff, Susan Thomas and husband Chris, and Steven Fair and wife Sara, and daughter-in-law Martha Davis. Margaret's legacy extends to her beloved grandchildren: Leigh Knowlton, Lauren Davis, Owen Davis, Mary Davis, Rebekah Davis, Ruth Davis, Kori Bates, Chaz Bates, Nicholas Thomas, Alexander Thomas, and wife Sarah, Taylor Cook and husband Chase, Kali Thomas, Bryant Fair, Sara Kate Fair, Patrick Fair. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Collin, Bryson, Knox, Maesyn, Isabella, Ashlyn, Decklan, Hadlee, and Adam.
Margaret's life was a testament to the importance of love, faith, and family. There will be a family graveside service held at a later date.
