Margaret was an amazing woman, who had a servant's heart for the Lord. Her faith in Jesus was so evident in every aspect of her life. She was a cherished friend, who was a great mentor to me. She was always ready to listen, without judgement, to anything that I needed to talk about. She was a very faithful prayer warrior. She loved our college students at FBC and had a heart for our international students, as well. She made anyone feel accepted and wanted. I remember when she shared with me, about a young mom at BTV, who worked in the dining hall. She was collected baby items for her, and asked if I would like to help. Another time, she was collecting household items for an international student, who did not have anything for his apartment. One of my most treasured times with her, was a particular Sunday morning at church. She stopped me in the hallway, and asked if I needed a hug & prayer. She said, "I know your mother recently passed, and I want you to know, I am here for you." This is how Margaret live out her life. She was ready and willing to help, listen, pray, and serve, ALL the time! Thank-you Margaret, for blessing me with your friendship and wisdom!
