Margaret J. George's Obituary
Margaret J. George, 79 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Monday, December 20, 2010 in Springdale, AR. She was born June 27, 1931 in Chickamauga, GA to George Bennett and Pearl (Smith) Hesser.
She was a very active person, making quilts, crocheting, making ceramics, gardening, and canning. She loved to read and spend time with her family.
She was raised in the Assembly of God faith.
She was preceded in death by a son, Roger George in 1992, her husband of 51 years P. Theodore George in 1999, and a sister, Marie Lax in 1997.
She is survived by her daughter; Margaret (Beth) Terry and husband Kenneth of Fayetteville, AR, two sons; Phineus T. George of Dermott, AR, Larry A. George of Nashville, TN, a special adopted daughter; Kathy Prendergast of Rogers, AR,
one sister; Geneva Simco of Mountainburg, AR, grandchildren; Bradley Terry of Fayetteville, AR, Tanya Harvey of Fayetteville, AR, Kelly George 0f Harrison, AR, Ted George of Springdale, AR, Chris George of SC, Jennifer George of San Antonio, TX, Haley Evans-George of Nashville, TN, and nine great grandchildren.
