Margaret Lewis Leonard's Obituary
Margaret Lewis Leonard 87, of Fayetteville passed away Thursday, February 27th surrounded by all her family.
She was born October 8, 1932 in Ottawa Kansas to Horace and Ruby Traphagan.
She was preceded in death by husband Tom Lewis, daughter in law Ginny Lewis and grandchildren Rachel Worley and Chris Lewis.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Leonard, daughter Debbi Mohler and husband Mike. Sons Tommy and fiancé Jill Graham, Tim and wife Sharon. Grandchildren Matt(Martha Marie), Mindy, Brittany(fiancé A J Jefferson), T.J.(Samantha), Shelby(Kara),
Alecia(Seth), Jamie(Daniel) and Taylor(Sarah). And 11 great grandchildren. As well as many nieces and nephews. And brother Max Traphagan(Sula) and brother in law David Lewis(Beth).
She was actively involved at St Paul’s Episcopal Church, Perennial Garden Club and PEO Chapter BH.
Her family was her greatest accomplishment. Nothing pleased her more than spending time with all her children , grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Margaret loved entertaining her friends. She enjoyed planning parties. All her friends agree she knew how to throw a great party!
A Celebration of Life will be held at St Paul’s Episcopal Church Tuesday, March 3rd at 11a.m.
