Margery Acuff's Obituary
Margery M. Acuff, 88, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away Friday, December 21, 2007 in Springdale. She was born September 21, 1919 in Bloomington, Texas. The daughter of Thomas Arthur and Flora Ann (Plummer) Hayes. She was a homemaker and a member of the Fish Back Baptist Church in Springdale for over thirty-four years.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Edmond Acuff on July 10, 1972 and one Daughter; Shirley Jean Lynch.
She is survived by; four sons; Roy Acuff and wife Angie of Springdale, Arkansas, James Arthur Acuff and wife Stella of Springdale, Arkansas, Randall Acuff and wife Reba of Fayetteville, Arkansas, William Acuff and wife Sara of Springdale, Arkansas, three daughters; Etta Kelly and husband Jerry of Jay, Oklahoma, Mary Andersen and husband Larrie of Gentry, Arkansas, Glenda Serrato and husband Jose of Rogers, Arkansas, twenty-eight grandchildren, forty-five great grandchildren and seventeen great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, December 24, 2007 at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville, with Rev. Loy Counts officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery in Springdale. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Visitation will be 9:00 AM till 12:00 PM, Monday, December 24, 2007, in the chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
