Margie Baker's Obituary
Margie Baker, age 79, of West Fork, died Thursday, September 18, 2014 in Bentonville. She was born April 24, 1935 in Hindsville, Arkansas, the daughter of Jess and Chloe Redmond Burks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Baker, Jr., in 1995; two brothers, Walter Burks and Lewis Burks and a sister, Blanche Hill.
She was a retired employee of Levi-Strauss.
She is survived by a daughter, Karen Sliva and her husband Robert of Centerton; a son, David Baker of West Fork; five grandchildren, Stephanie Drake, Robby Sliva, Clayton Baker, Melissa Baker and Christopher Combs; two great-grandchildren and two brothers, Charles Burks and Elmer Burks; two sisters, Marlene Stamps and Ruby Shepherd.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Monday, September 22, 2014 at Moore’s Chapel.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at Moore’s Chapel followed by burial at Baptist Ford Cemetery.
