Margie Aline Totman's Obituary
Margie Aline Totman, age 78, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2024, in Bentonville, AR. She was born on March 16, 1946, in Paris, AR, to the late Ertie and Bessie (Harrison) Dennis.
Margie was a woman of many talents and passions throughout her life. She was the proud owner of a country music show that started in Bella Vista, AR in 1991-1992. They eventually moved the country music show to Lowell, AR where they added a restaurant. Margie was happiest working alongside her husband and children. Sugar Creek Country was enjoyed by so many people in the community. Additionally, Margie dedicated many years serving as a secretary, showcasing her dedication and commitment to her profession.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Margie cherished her role as a mother and grandmother. She is survived by 2-sisters; Reba Hight of Independence, KS, and Linda Smith of Fredonia, KS, and her loving children; daughter Alina Dunn and husband Jeff of Bentonville, AR, daughter Carol McGlothin and husband Brice of Cherryvale, KS, son Warren Satchel of Richmond, UT, daughter Cinnamon Akins and husband Shane of Rogers, AR, son Wray Satchel of Salt Lake City, son Wynn Satchel and wife Becky of Gravette, AR, son Wade Satchel and wife Heather of Western Grove, AR, and daughter Jaime Totman of Berryville, AR. Margie had 20 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren who meant the world to her and were the center of her universe.
Margie was preceded in death by her beloved husband James Lee Totman. Their love and partnership were evident to all who knew them, and her loss will be deeply felt by all who loved her.
Margie's memory will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the love she shared with those around her.
In lieu of flowers for Margie, the family kindly requests that flowers be sent to Grand Brook Memory Care in Rogers, AR, in her memory.
