Marguerite Loyce Pennington's Obituary
Marguerite Loyce Pennington, age 78, of Springdale, AR, passed away Friday, November 7, 2025. She was born February 25, 1947, in Villisca, Iowa. Her parents, Harold Bacon, Juanita Wolfe Bacon and a sister, Mickey McAlister preceded her in death.
Marguerite was a retired accountant for Packing Specialties in Fayetteville. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and antiquing. Spending time with her family, especially shopping with her sister in Springfield, MO, was a great love of hers.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Lee Pennington, a sister, Maureen Bacon, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville with Rev. Don George officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Susan G. Komen breast Cancer Foundation, Ozark Affiliate, P.O. Box 9462, Fayetteville, AR, 72703, or Springdale Animal, Shelter, 1549 E.
