Marian Hall Catron's Obituary
Marian Hall Catron, 88, of Fayetteville AR, passed away on Sunday, February 16.
Marian was born in San Diego CA, to Lawrence and Georgia Hall. After Marian graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1953, she met her future husband, Bud Catron, whilst in the Sands Casino bar with her girlfriends. She fell for the only USAF fighter pilot in the bar that evening that was enjoying a glass of milk. Marian and Bud went on to have two daughters, Dawn and Dina. Being the wife of an Air Force pilot, Marian spent much of her life traveling and honing her interests in art, history, food, and culture. She was widely known as a leader, friend, and an absolute talent at everything that sparked her intrigue - thus earning her the certified title of Master Gardener.
Marian is survived by her daughter Dina, her four-legged son Gus, sons-in-law Bill and Joe, grandchildren Nicole, Katy, Georgia, and Will, her brother Larry, and his family.
A celebration of life will be held at Butterfield Village on Friday March 7 from 2:00-4:00. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to 7hills Homeless Center or any other charitable organization.
