Marie Claudette Doris Warren's Obituary
Marie Claudette Doris Warren, age 88, of Fayetteville, Arkansas passed peacefully Friday August 23, 2024. She was born January 24, 1936 in Chisholm, Maine, the seventh child of Aurelien Joseph Perron and Florence Margaret Simoneau.
After graduating from Jay High School, Claudette attended St. Mary’s School of Nursing where she obtained her Diploma Degree in Nursing. Claudette met her husband Mont Braxton Warren in Tampa, Florida, where they married at Christ the King Catholic Church on May 20, 1961.
After 20 years as an Air Force wife, she moved to Goshen, AR in 1974. A lifelong Catholic, she joined St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fayetteville, where for 50 years she made a difference staying active in multiple ministries right up to her last year. She was an Registered Nurse at Washington Regional for two decades, working units as Head Nurse, finally retiring in 1994 as the Night Supervisor.
She was blessed with four children: Maureen Farrell (Shawn), and Paul Warren (Susan) of Fayetteville, Christine Spears (Mark) of Cincinnati, AR and Melissa Hill (Patrick) of Alma, AR.; ten grandchildren: Caitlin Farrell, Joseph Warren (Serena), Jacob Warren, MaryRose Warren, JohnPaul Warren, Sara Spears Jones Terrell (Austin), Stephanie Spears Dridi (Sami), Dallas Hill (Elizabeth), Whitney Hill Shackelford (Tyler) and Rylee Ann Hill; and eleven greatgrandchildren. She is further survived by her sister, Vivian Flagg of Brandon, FL; brother, Jean Paul Perron (Judith) of Parsippany, NJ; sister in-law, Annamarie “Mia” Warren, nieces and nephews too numerous to mention, and a host of adopted loved ones who called her, “Mom”, of note Donna and Robert Bell, Ken and Andrea Utecht.
She was preceded in death by her parents, ‘Blackie’ and Florence; her husband, Mont; oldest brother, Roger Perron and his wife Marlene; sisters, Jeannine Williams and her husband James; Rejeanne Paradis and husband Nelson; Annette Richards and husband Gerard; Aline Fawcett and husband John; and Pauline Barrutia and husband John; brothers-in-law, Lyle Flagg and Harry D. Warren; sister in-law Marlene Warren, granddaughter, Rebekah Warren and grandson in-law, Clint Jones.
A drop in Visitation will be held from 6:00 -7:00 pm. On Friday, August 30, 2024 at Moore’s Chapel.
The Rosary for her eternal repose will begin at 11:30 am Saturday August 31, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fayetteville, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Fr. Jason Tyler at 12:00 PM. Which may be viewed by Livestream: www.facebook.com/saintjosephfayetteville/ There will be a reception immediately following the Mass. Interment will be at 2:30 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville.
