Marilyn Joyce Matheson Schowalter's Obituary
Marilyn Joyce Matheson Schowalter departed this world to begin a new adventure on May 26, 2022.
She is joining her mother and father, Sherman and Joyce Hovie Matheson and her husband and son, Tom and Daniel Woodrow Schowalter.
Marilyn was born in Van Nuys, California on November 21, 1945. The family moved to Siloam Springs, Arkansas in 1957 where Marilyn graduated from Siloam Springs High School in 1963. On December 30, 1967, she married John David Myers. Of this union, JoAnna Celeste and Daniel Woodrow were born. She later married Thomas Phillip Schowalter on December 22, 1982, and Lacey Conrad was born. Her professional career was dedicated to helping others through social service programs.
Those waiting to join her in the future are daughters JoAnna (Matthew) Probst, Lacey Schowalter and Daniel Ferris (Kelly) Schowalter; grandchildren Amelia and Harry Probst and Lillian Thompson, siblings Carol (Henry) Alfaro and Dennis (Trish) Matheson. All that knew her were touched by her giving nature and cheerful demeanor.
