Marion Retta Reed's Obituary
Marion Retta Reed, age 85, of Winslow, died Thursday, January 2, 2014 in Winslow. She was born February 5, 1928 in Brentwood, Arkansas, the daughter of Charles Renner and Lula Pierce Talley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Reed and a son, Butch Reed.
She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
She is survived by three daughters, Kathy Johnson of Greenland, Arkansas, Betty Lyons and her husband Roy and Donna Lutz and her husband Corey all of Winslow, Arkansas; three sons, Len Reed and his partner Jamey of Greenland, Rick Reed and his wife Marsha of Winslow, Arkansas and Gary Reed and his wife Donna of Winslow, Arkansas; a daughter-in-law Helen Reed of Winslow, Arkansas; a sister, Oleta Falkner of Farmington, Arkansas; a brother, Donald Talley and his wife Carol of Winslow, Arkansas; seventeen grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 3, 2014 at Moore’s Chapel.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday at Seventh Day Adventist Church in Brentwood with burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Winslow, under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
