Marjorie 'Peg' Leverenz's Obituary
Marjorie “Peg” Leverenz, age 93 of Fayetteville passed away Thursday February 6, 2014 in Fayetteville. She was born March 24, 1920 in Kansas City, Missouri to Andrew and Edel Jensen Peterson. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Richard Leverenz. She married her husband Oscar Leverenz on January 17, 1942. She graduated high school from Penn Hall High School in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania and later graduated from the National College of Education in Evanston, Illinois. She was a member of Junior League in Evanston, Illinois; Dallas, Texas; Fort Worth, Texas and Denver, Colorado.
She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Oscar “Oz” Leverenz of Fayetteville.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville. No services are planned at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fayetteville Public Library Foundation, 401 West Mountain Street, Fayetteville, Arkansas 72701 or The Salvation Army.
