Mark was a great English student even though it wasn't his favorite subject. If he wasn't going to do well on a pop quiz, Mark would create a fantastic design instead of an answer and the design would be so good that I had to give him points for effort and creativity. I think he drove a black hearse to school and always had a story about his adventures with it. I never heard Mark say a mean thing to anyone. He was a special person.
Rest peacefully Mark...Many many fond memories. Everytime it snows I think of how you would take us around sledding...thanks for all you did
Trust me when I tell you that Fayetteville has lost an icon. Many folks in the area, like myself, have known him since elementary school. Everyone who knew Pork loved him and knew him to be a kind, considerate, and honest man. May God be with him and bless his family. He will be sorely missed.
